We came here on a whim for dinner after our first choice down the street was too long of a wait. I was actually excited to come here since I remember enjoying the AYCE sushi, but was so sad when we arrived to find out they don't do it anymore!! So we just had a regular sushi and Chinese food menu to order from, which was nothing too spectacular. Very limited options - didn't even have tamago nigiri which we wanted to order for our daughter. My husband and I shared three rolls and my favorite ended up being the Rome - it was topped with seared tuna and cheese. Sounds so weird but it works! I was initially most excited about the Matthew roll with wagyu on top but it was very underwhelming. Extremely thin slices of wagyu and couldn't taste the flavor since it was drowned in spicy mayo. Was not worth $21 at all, and would have preferred to try something else for cheaper. The Mark roll was okay, nothing memorable and also on the smaller side. Despite lackluster menu and limited options, I'm still giving a 4-star rating because of service. They were so friendly and patient with us, being such a large group. Just wish they had the AYCE sushi again because that would probably be the only way I come back this way again!

Such an amazing spot! Came out on Valentine's Day to have a solo dinner date and had zero regrets!!! The best service from their team and the owner and sushi chef checked in often and made sure I was taken care of at the bar top. Solid spot and so happy I found it!!!

This is probably the best sushi joint in the Sacramento area! I've been here quite a few times and the first time, I had their spicy tuna roll and sushi burrito, all vegan, and they were dynamite. I love the variety of different rolls they have, especially for those who are vegan and they offer big portions and you get full fast. I cannot recommend this place enough and they are very accommodating to vegans with their vegan menu.

A hidden hole in the wall and it's definitely worth a try! We found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try and we're glad we did. We visited around 6pm on a Tuesday and it wasn't busy. The place is unassuming but welcoming at the same time. The staff promptly greeted us and sat us immediately. She was nice, quick, and efficient. We ordered a bento box with chicken katsu, beef teriyaki, and chicken teriyaki. The chicken katsu was my favorite, it was lightly breated, crispy, and juicy. The pork gyozas were delish and worth it especially if you get it during happy hour. They offer sake bombs and a couple of beer options. They have Sapporo on tap and that's what I got. They offer a Happy Hour which is always a plus in my book. I found it kind of neat that they offer quite a few VEGAN options. PARKING: They share a parking lot but there are lots of spots. I would come back for sure! They have a pool table and a bunch of TVs so I bet it would be fun to play some pool while watching a game.

Blown away is an understatement. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time. Finally, I got my chance. More amazing, I got to go while the VCC is happening! Delicious! I enjoyed all my rolls and the 99 cent sake bomb helped! So many vegan options and non vegan options! Employees were friendly and welcoming! The ambience is cute but modern. There is a cute chair you can sit in while waiting. (Pic moment) Highly recommend!

Came in for the Sacramento Vegan Chef Challenge and it did not disappoint!! I was very excited to see that they have a large vegan menu that's offered year-round, not just for the SVCC. No boring avocado-cucumber rolls here! They have creative sushi rolls with vegan "tuna", crab, caviar, shrimp, beef, and sauces. We tried the M.A.T.T.H.E.W tartare ($22.37) and H.O.S.E.A dessert ($4.60) from the SVCC menu, and the jalapeño poppers ($9.45) and Meteor Garden roll ($13.45) from the regular vegan menu. Everything was delicious! The tartare was very impressive and fun to eat! The roll was amazing & the tempura onions added so much flavor. The dessert was very good also, and reminded me of a vegan cheesecake, so don't be afraid of the avocado and edamame ingredients and give it a try! The ambience is good for a casual date night as it's not too busy or loud, at least when we went in. They informed me when we came in that it would be a bit of a wait, but we didn't end up waiting too long for our food. Service was friendly and a free refill on hot tea was provided. Definitely recommend you checking this place out, especially for vegan sushi!

Amazing quality fish! And an absolute underatted happy hour! $0.99 cent sake bombs (4oz) $9.99 pepper fin (5 pieces) $7.99 toro nigiri (2 pieces) Can't beat that! Plus I discovered they have a vegan sushi menu! Can't wait to try on my next visit.

Arrived on a Saturday for lunch. Had the option where to be seated anywhere as we were the firsts one there. Furnished with neon signs and Japanese accents, this sushi bar, oddly, had a pool table occupying the bar area. Indonesian pop music was being played while we were having lunch. That was confirmed by the owner, who was also from that South East Asian nation. We opted for the $45 AYCE as both of us were quite hungry. Everything was good with props to the Wagyu, Toro and Ama-Ebi nigiri, which we started with. The colorful sashimi plate was also worth mentioning with the succulent fresh fish. My least favorite from our choice of spread were probably the Sous Vide Duck ramen and Crispy Rice, which I found underwhelming. The crew (we assumed they were family) were very nice and attentive. The owner even made a dad joke while admitting that he owned the joint. "It depends. If the food is good, then yes, if the food isn't, then no." was his answer when asked if it was his business. Whine section: The restroom was dated and lacked paper product replenishment. Some of the menu items were "not available", i.e., Uni, Tamago and other Mochi ice cream flavors, not chocolate.

Don't judge a book by its cover.... Hidden away in a small shopping center next to dance studio and paint store. When you walk in you are met with the cutest decor, friendly staff and a pool table! Way to have a good time. We choose to order off the regular menu but want to come back and try the AYCE option. We did two bento boxes and were able to sub the salad for extra rice you can also sub it out for extra cucumbers as well. We also did two rolls both torched.
